A van rolled over off Malta Road in Shawnigan Lake Friday morning. A man driving the vehicle and his four-year-old daughter did not suffer any injuries.
A man and his four-year-old daughter are okay after the van they were in hit a patch of ice and rolled over in Shawnigan Lake Friday morning.
They were heading to a daycare when the incident happened on Malta Road and police say the girl was properly secured in her car seat.
The two were looked at by medical personnel and there are no injuries.
The van ended up on its wheels after rolling down an embankment off the road and also hit two trees.
A van carrying a male driver and his four-year-old daughter rolled over after skidding off Malta Road in Shawnigan Lake Friday morning. There were no injuries suffered.
Police say roads in the area are like skating rinks and a white truck also slid across the road not long before the van went into the trees.
The driver of the truck was the lone occupant and a tow truck came to help move it up a hill.
