Four suspects were arrested after an erratic driving complaint led to a robbery investigation Monday morning, according to Comox Valley RCMP.

Mounties received a complaint of erratic driving at about 10:40 a.m. The driver of one vehicle was reportedly chasing another vehicle on Highway 19 near Black Creek.

The caller told police this may be the result of an armed robbery, which prompted a major police response, said RCMP.

Officers ended up closing Highway 19 for about 26 km, from Iron River Road south of Campbell River to Piercy Road north of Cumberland.
