WATCH: The Elk Lake Spring Regatta is a chance for university-level rowing athletes to get their paddles in the water; for local rowers at the University of Victoria, it’s a chance to measure up against their cross-strait rivals, the UBC Thunderbirds.
The event is a perfect chance to get some competitive experience against rowers from down south and as far east as Ontario, and for the Vikes, it all leads up to the upcoming 27th annual Brown Cup, the rowing showdown between UVic and UBC.
The event takes place in the Gorge Waterway on March 30th.
