The Queen of Cowichan
A BC Ferries crew member has been taken to hospital after being injured in a mechanical incident Saturday morning on the Queen of Cowichan.
The precise cause of the crew member’s injuries is not yet known, but the incident occurred on the car deck and involved the bow door.
Two sailings were cancelled due to the injury: the 8:25 a.m. sailing from Horseshoe Bay, and the 10:40 sailing from Departure Bay.
BC Ferries says there will be a full investigation into the cause of the injury. No further delays were expected from the incident.
