A weak low-pressure system is moving toward the south coast. That will bring increasing cloud Friday, and the chance of scattered showers Saturday.
Daytime highs will be slightly cooler, from the mid to upper teens, with overnight lows from 9 to 11 degrees.
High pressure will rebuild overnight Saturday, and Vancouver Islanders will wake to sunny skies Sunday, with clear skies lasting into next week.
Temperatures will rise to slighty above seasonal with highs into the low 20s for most regions, and into the upper 20s for inland regions such as the Alberni Valley.
