Central Saanich Police officers caught a motorist in a small SUV going 142 km/h in an 80 km/h stretch on Highway 17 on Saturday.
A motorist had their vehicle impounded on their way to the Swartz Bay ferry terminal yesterday.
According to Central Saanich Police, officers caught a motorist in a small SUV going 142 km/h in an 80 km/h stretch on Highway 17 Saturday afternoon.
The motorist was on their way to the ferry terminal when they were caught, police said, noting that the driver didn’t even have a license and was hit with $759 in fines, and a 30-day vehicle impoundment.
