
Police officers in Central Saanich were busy handing out speeding tickets this past Thursday.
According to the Central Saanich Police Department, officers issued 10 violation tickets for speeding in 90 minutes to motorists on Lochside Drive on Thursday.
The speed limit on Lochside Drive is 30 km/h.
“All tickets issued were for at least double the speed limit,” the department said in a post on social media.
Lochside Drive is also a regional bike route that is often used by cyclists.
