Cowichan Valley grocery store workers test positive for COVID-19

Employees at a grocery store in the Cowichan Valley have tested positive for COVID-19.

According to a notice posted Friday on Loblaws Inc.’s website, two employees working at the Real Canadian Superstore in Duncan recently tested positive for COVID-19.

The two employees last worked at the store on Feb. 12 and 13.

It’s not the first time an employee working at the store has tested positive for the virus. Another case was reported at the Duncan location back in January.

Ontario-based Loblaws Inc. is the parent company of both Real Canadian Superstore and Shoppers Drug Mart.
