Canada out of medal contention at Women’s Rugby World Cup

Team Canada suffered a 48-5 loss at the hands of New Zealand in their final match in pool play Thursday morning.

Jacey Murphy scored the lone try for Canada in the match.

With the loss, Canada is officially knocked out of medal contention and can finish fifth at best.
