RCMP investigating robbery at Campbell River Thrift Store.

Campbell River RCMP are investigating a robbery at knifepoint that took place in a thrift store on Tuesday.

Police responded to a hold-up alarm on June 25 at the Campbell River Thrift Store located at 415- 2nd Avenue.

According to RCMP, the suspect entered the store wielding a knife. He allegedly proceeded to rob the cashier of money before fleeing on a bicycle. No one was injured in the event and RCMP are continuing to investigate.

The suspect is described as a Caucasian man, between the ages of 25-30 and about 5’10” in height with a thin build. He is described by police to be wearing black pants, a black sweater, a jacket, light-coloured shoes and riding a blue mountain bike.

Authorities said several people were in the area at the time of the robbery and are urging anyone with information to contact the Campbell River RCMP or call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
