Body found floating near North Saanich Marina

The death of a man whose body was found near the North Saanich Marina is not considered suspicious, police said.

Just before 9 a.m Monday morning, the body of a 60-year-old man was found floating the water near North Saanich Marina.

Sidney/North Saanich RCMP arrived at the scene and after interviews with witnesses, determined the man’s death is not suspicious.

Police say the matter is now being handled by the BC Coroner’s Service.
