Vancouver-based Superflux Beer Company is expanding and opening a new ’70s Las Vegas hotel bar-themed restaurant in Victoria.

The new restaurant will be located at 804 Broughton St, in downtown Victoria and will have an interior design inspired by the company’s self-stated purpose to “Do Cool S***” and “Bring Happiness.”

According to a post on the beer company’s Instagram account, it has partnered with Studio Roslyn, an interior design studio in Vancouver, to create a theme of “70s Vegas Hotel Bar Splendour.”

The location will also feature two separate patios.

“Superflux {Cabana}’s design ethos embodies the nostalgia of escapism. Slightly hedonistic, our goal with the interior design direction was to rouse that oh-so-magical vacation mode feeling. Atmospheric and a tad irreverent, the design has a certain cheeky nonchalance quality,” said the principal of Studio Roslyn, Kate Snyder.

“We are confident people will have as much fun in the space as we had developing the concept with the Superflux team.”

Both Superflux and Studio Roslyn say that more information on the project will be provided soon on the restaurant’s new Instagram account @superflux.cabana.

Superflux adds that official job postings will come soon as well.
