The Oceanside RCMP say two stolen Sea-Doos and the trailer they were attached to have been recovered, months after they were reported missing.

The two watercrafts were stolen on Sept. 14 from the Qualicum Bay area.

On Thursday, Dec. 14, Mounties said the three items had been recovered from a rural property in the Whiskey Creek area, south of Qualicum Bay.

Neither the Sea-Doos nor the trailer were damaged, according to police.

“The stolen Sea-Doos and trailer have been returned to their rightful owner who was excited to have them back,” said Sgt. Shane Worth of the Oceanside RCMP in a release Thursday.

Mounties say they received “many tips” about the theft and are grateful for the community’s support in its investigation.

“No arrests were made and no charges have been laid, however the investigation is ongoing,” said Worth.
