WATCH: After capturing gold in Kitakyushu Sunday, the Canadian Women’s Rugby Sevens squad returned home to Victoria Monday, with a warm welcome at Victoria International Airport.
The ladies captured Canada’s first win on the World Rugby Sevens Series since 2017, a much-needed victory after a slow 2019 season to date for both the men’s and women’s teams.
The ladies will be defending their recent victory as the World Women’s Sevens Series comes to Langford’s Westhills Stadium May 11 & 12.
