Westshore RCMP arrested 23-year-old Tuan Nguyen-Mitchell on a Canada-Wide Warrant on Thursday

Westshore RCMP say they arrested a man on a Canada Wide Warrant issued by Charlottetown Police in PEI.

PEI Crime Stoppers posted Nguyen-Mitchell’s wanted notice to their Facebook page in February. RCMP say that he was wanted for cocaine trafficking.

Westshore RCMP say that Charlottetown Police are making arrangements to have Nguyen-Mitchell transported back to their jurisdiction.

RCMP say this will likely involve a police escort and Charlottetown Police will be travelling to the detachment to make these arrangements.

Westshore RCMP also made a second arrest on a warrant, this one issued by Saanich Police for 52-year-old Darcy Hartmann.

Hartmann was wanted for being unlawfully at large since November 8.

The RCMP’s Bike Patrol Unit found Hartmann sleeping inside a vehicle at a gas station in View Royal.
