CHEK will be sharing Western Speedway’s broadcast of the iWestern Speedway Horsepower for Hunger Season Finale. Western Speedway drivers and several NASCAR stars will battle on iRacing, a realistic motorsports simulation.

The broadcast will go live at 7 p.m. and will be shareable via the Western Speedway Facebook page.

CHEK News’ own Cole Sorenson and Western Speedway competitor David Smith will provide commentary for the race at the virtual Phoenix International Raceway.

It’s more than just a few laps around an animated track, the race will raise money for the Goldstream Food Bank. To donate in the lead up to the broadcast or during, head over to the new iWestern Speedway website, a new website designated to the virtual side of racing.

“We’re racing for fun, but also for a reason, to support those who are in need at this time,” said the Langford racetrack on Facebook.
