WATCH: With over 40 teams, 100+ games and some of the best young ball hockey players in Western Canada, the 2018 Western Challenge Cup is being hosted in Victoria this weekend.
With U-11, U-13, U-15, U-17 and U-19 athletes all taking part in the tournament, the ‘WCC’ is drawing elite athletes to Victoria to compete in the prestigious tournament. Many ice hockey players put away the skates and pick up the sneakers to work on their conditioning and ball handling, and many of the players in this weekend’s tournament also play ice hockey at a high level.
