Westbound lanes remain closed on a section of Highway 14 in Langford after a vehicle incident brought power lines down early Monday morning.

Drive B.C. first report the incident at 3:25 a.m. and said four hours later all lanes going westbound are closed between Ronald Road and Penwood Road, near Glen Lake.

Power lines are down and BC Hydro says crews are on site trying to restore power to more than 1,000 customers in Langford and Colwood.

There is no word on the cause of the crash or if there are any injuries.

BC Hydro forecasts power to be restored by 8:30 a.m.

More to come.
