It took slightly over a month for the two men to commit at least five break-ins. Police say they operated during the night and would target underground parking facilities and storage lockers.

One apartment building was burglarized by the men twice.

They managed to steal everything from maintenance equipment to power tools and in one instance made off with multiple firearms.

Mounties say their specialized crime reduction unit was able to identify the two men involved and obtained a search warrant for two separate properties, also in View Royal and Langford.

Many of the items were able to be recovered and seized by police..

Currently, their names have not been released but police say the two men, 25 and  34, were arrested in late March for several offences, including multiple counts of break and enter, possession of break and enter instruments, disguise with intent and possession of stolen property.

West Shore RCMP say both men have been released with strict conditions to have zero contact with one another, a curfew, and a firearms prohibition.
