West Shore RCMP is reaching out to the public for help identifying a suspect who was caught stealing from a vehicle in an underground parking lot in Langford.
Police say that officers are currently investigating a report of “mischief and theft from a vehicle” which took place on Dec. 29.
The suspect that police are trying to identify was caught on video surveillance in an underground parking lot located at 854 Orono Ave in Langford.
Cameras captured the man smashing the window of a vehicle in the lot and reaching inside to steal belongings.
West Shore RCMP is describing the suspect as approximately 25-35 years old with dark hair.
At the time of the incident, he was wearing a blue hoodie, black jacket, light-coloured jeans, brown shoes and a grey backpack.

Anyone who might have information on the suspect is being asked to call the West Shore RCMP at 250-474-2264 or report anonymously through Crime Stoppers online or by calling 1-800-222-8477.
