West Shore RCMP say a 14-year-old boy with autism who went missing from Metchosin Wednesday morning has been found safe.

Police said Chad Sullivan was last seen in the 1100 block of Kangaroo Road at around 10 a.m. Family and police were concerned for Sullivan’s health and well-being as he has severe autism and non-verbal. West Shore RCMP officers, an RCMP police dog and a search and rescue team all assisted in the search.
