West Shore RCMP investigate after bag of drugs found in Langford

The West Shore RCMP is investigating after a bag full of drugs was turned in on Friday.

A person called the police after finding the bag near the 3300 block of Turnstone Drive in Langford while out on a walk.

West Shore RCMP officers seized the bag which contained a large quantity of narcotics including methamphetamine, fentanyl, and heroin. Police believed the bag was dropped in the area Thursday, the day prior to being found, sometime after 12 p.m.

The bag is described as a yellow fabric drawstring bag with the words Burberry London England written on it.

Police are looking to speak to anyone who has any information on the bag. The RCMP is also asking anyone who has a vehicle dash camera, that may have been driving in the area on Thursday, May 28 between 12:00 p.m to 1:00 a.m on Friday, May 29, to please review their footage.

The West Shore RCMP are also asking residents who live in the area and have a home surveillance system,  to review video footage and contact police if they have captured anything suspicious.
