Warrants issued for 23-year-old Brandon Maxwell Hopkins of Nanaimo for robbery incidents November 29.

Nanaimo RCMP has issued warrants for the arrest of a Nanaimo man suspected of a bank robbery last month.

Police are looking for 23-year-old Brandon Maxwell Hopkins in relation to the alleged robbery of a Scotiabank and an alleged attempted armed robbery of a Tim Horton’s on November 29.

Both incidents happened in Nanaimo.

Hopkins is a white man, 5’11”, 250 pounds with black hair and hazel eyes.

The suspect has a tattoo on his right forearm of Ashley and Star, and the words ‘Stay True’ spelt on his left forearm.

RCMP say Hopkins should be considered armed and advise anyone who sees Hopkins to not approach him and to call 911.
