WATCH: Both the men’s and women’s UVIC Vikes basketball teams came out with victories over the TRU Wolfpack in Kamloops on Friday night.
The women beat Thompson Rivers by a score of 78-59, with third year guard Calli McMillan setting a career-high in points with 21 to lead the way for Victoria.
Meanwhile on the men’s side, it was fifth-year forward Jordan Charles taking command, dropping a team-high 20 points as the Vikes took down the Wolfpack 73-65 to move to 2-3 on the year.
Both teams are going for the two-game sweep tonight on the road.
