Hotel Grand Pacific plans to reopen on June 21.

After being closed since late March, a well-known hotel in Victoria plans to reopen next month.

In a brief e-mail statement, Hotel Grand Pacific said they will be reopening June 21. The hotel said operations and staffing levels will be at “a minimum” in order to ensure “safe” social distancing.

“Rest assured, we will take no chances with your well being and we will be exceeding the standards you expect of us,” said Reid James, the hotel’s general manager.

People can now make reservations for dates on or after June 21 on their website.

Food and beverage options will be limited while their pools, sauna, and the steam room will remain closed.

Subject to provincial guidelines, the hotel said they are hoping to reopen the gym.

Hotel Grand Pacific temporarily suspended its operations on March 26.
