Victoria tattoo artist pleads guilty to multiple counts of sexual assault

Victoria tattoo artist David Samuel Hadden, 36, pleaded guilty to four counts of sexual assault in B.C. court Friday.

A Victoria tattoo artist has pleaded guilty to multiple counts of sexual assault.

David Samuel Hadden, 36, pled guilty to four counts of sexual assault in B.C. court Friday. He had been facing six counts of sexual assault following his arrest last August.

Hadden had been employed as a tattoo artist at Carne Tattoo on Johnson Street.

The Victoria Police Department first opened an investigation into Hadden in July 2020 after several women posted on an Instagram account that they were sexually assaulted during tattoo appointments.

His next court date is scheduled for Jan. 27, 2022.
