Victoria’s Adam Braidwood will resume his boxing career on Sept.8 at Western Speedway as the headliner for Summer Slugfest VII. Braidwood is stepping into the ring for the first time since his infamous June 16 bout with Tim Hague.
The fight, which took place in Edmonton at the Shaw Conference Centre, made headlines across the boxing world when Hague died two days later in hospital as a result of his injuries from the bout.
