
Police officers clean up the aftermath of a bag fire near Island Savings in downtown Victoria on Aug. 3.
Victoria police say they are investigating whether a small fire at Douglas Street and Broughton Street was accidental or nefarious.
Police were told about the fire just before 4 a.m. No one was injured. A small bag containing personal items was damaged.
There were no injuries & apart from damage to a bag, no damage to other property. #yyj

Prior to the fire being extinguished, VicPD said people passing by the area told the bag’s owner that their bag was on fire.
