Victoria Police Department says officers discovered six knives and an uncapped hypodermic needle near Crystal Pool.
Half a dozen knives and an uncapped hypodermic needle was discovered in a playground near a popular pool in Victoria.
According to the Victoria Police Department, officers were called to Crystal Pool after receiving reports of a man “shouting and acting erratically outside” but were unable to locate him.
However, officers did discover six unattended knives and an uncapped hypodermic needle, near a children’s playground.
VicPD said there were between 25-30 children playing at the park when officers discovered the discarded items, and that there were “many other children using the baseball diamond” and nearby area.
