West Shore RCMP say a 29-year-old man from Victoria has been charged after they seized cash and drugs during a traffic stop earlier this month.

On Feb. 1, RCMP received a report of a suspicious stolen vehicle being driven around. Officers found the vehicle and stopped it.

Investigators confirmed the vehicle had been stolen in Langford. Police said the driver was prohibited from driving.

Police found a bag containing approximately 10.5 grams of suspected meth, six grams of suspected cocaine, 55 suspected prescription pills and 51 grams of suspected opioids. Officers also found $950 in cash.

After further investigation, officers went to a storage unit and discovered hundreds of stolen tools. West Shore RCMP are now returning the tools to the owners.
