The City of Victoria is providing residents with a chance to give feedback on the latest design concepts for cycling corridors that will be improved in 2020.
Saturday will be the first of four open houses, running from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Janion Plaza at 490 Pandora Avenue.
The city says the next projects in its 32-kilometre cycling network include Kimta Road, Government Street North, Richardson Street and the Kings-Haultain corridor.
Those routes are considered important connections from residential neighbourhoods to employment centres, schools, parks and recreation centres.
The open house events will give participants a chance to look at full-length corridor design concepts and talk with staff about the projects.
The city says feedback from the open houses will be considered in preparing for recommended design concepts that will be presented to council early in the new year.
Other open houses will be held next Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, Dec. 7.
