Victoria furniture-store owner Gordy Dodd gives back to the community

WATCH: One of the most generous men in Victoria gave again last week to make life easier for those in need.

On Friday, Gordy Dodd helped hand out blankets to some of the city’s less fortunate at Our Place in Victoria. His donation of a hundred blankets is just one of many ways the Dodd family gives back to the community every year.

“These people they need help you know, they need warm clothes to stay away from the cold. At Dodd’s Furniture, we always like to give back to the community,” Dodd said.

“Having access to a nice warm blanket really means a lot to people who are living on the streets people who are living in poverty it’s a really nice donation coming at a really vital time right now,” Grant McKenzie of the Our Place Society said.
