The 30th Victoria Film Festival is less than one month away, and tickets are now on sale for the event.
The event will take place at five theatres in Victoria across 10 days — Feb. 2 to 11 — showing 83 feature films and 24 short films.
Celebrity guests at this year’s Film Fest will include actor Eric McCormack from Will and Grace and Academy nominated director Atom Egoyan.
Egoyan’s film, Seven Veils, will be shown at the opening gala on Feb. 2 at The Vic theatre.
Seven Veils details the story of Jeanine (played by Amanda Seyfried), a young director tasked with remounting her recently deceased mentor’s production of Richard Strauss’ opera Salome.
The festival is showing films from 23 different countries.
