Victoria police say a “person of interest” matching the description of a suspect seen throwing items at staff in a McDonald’s surveillance video has gone to the police department’s Esquimalt division offices.

According to police, the woman was not arrested when she went to see Victoria police and the investigation into the incident is continuing.

The woman in the surveillance video reportedly became angry when she did get a tomato slice on her wrap. She is seen in the video throwing items at staff before punching and breaking a kiosk at a McDonald’s on Hillside Avenue.
