Ian Indridson was last seen the morning of Jan. 10, according to Victoria police.

Victoria police have renewed their plea for help from the public in finding 54-year-old Ian Indridson, who is described as being “high-risk.”

“In considering all of the factors surrounding Ian’s disappearance, including the fact that it is out of character for Ian to have gone missing, investigators believe Ian to be a high-risk missing person,” reads a statement from VicPD.

“This means that investigators believe Ian’s health or well-being may be in immediate danger.”

His sister, Vicky Istace, said she’s gutted and not doing well after finding out about the disappearance of her brother.

“This isn’t anything I would wish upon anyone,” she told CHEK News.

“This is out of the ordinary,” Istace said, adding that she would speak to him every couple weeks.
She describes Ian as funny, incredibly intelligent, loving and family-oriented.

According to the statement, Ian stands 5’11” tall and has a slim build, and short salt and pepper hair.

He’s believed to be wearing black sweatpants and rubber boots, and may also be wearing a dark Eddie Bauer sweatshirt, as pictured above.

Ian was last seen on the morning of Jan. 10, when investigators believe he may have gone to an area near the ocean.

Police say they are continuing their search to find Ian to ensure that he is safe.

Anyone who has seen Ian is asked to call 911, or anyone with information about where he may be is asked to call the VicPD Report Desk at (250) 995-7654, extension 1.

You can also report anonymously by calling Greater Victoria Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
