VicPD look to identify suspect in string of robberies

VicPD have released surveillance camera images in an effort to identify a suspect in a string of robberies including at a Subway on Fort at Foul Bay Thursday evening.

Officers were called to the business at about 7:40 p.m. after reports a man armed with a knife had stolen an undisclosed amount of cash and fled.

There were several customers in the restaurant at the time but no one was injured  .

A K-9 unit was called in but the suspect was not found

He was described as a Caucasian man, wearing a grey balaclava, a black shirt and dark pants.

Police believe the same suspect is responsible for two other robberies including another one on Thursday.

Just after midnight. money and cigarettes were stolen from a business in the 800-block of Bay Street.

On April 5th, money and cigarettes were stolen from a business  in the 2900-block of Douglas Street.
