Victoria police and the Victoria Fire Department are scheduled to give an update tomorrow on the Plaza Hotel fire investigation.
The historic hotel building in downtown Victoria went up in flames on May 6, 2019.
Building caretaker Mike Draeger hasn’t been seen since the blaze. And there has not been an update into the arson investigation or the missing person investigation this year.
Draeger’s 1972 Airstream trailer was towed from the site on the day of the fire. It has since been sold.
Victoria police Detective Const. Andre Almeida and Victoria Fire Department Assistant Chief of Fire Prevention Brad Sifert are scheduled to speak at a virtual press conference at 1 p.m.
