An overnight break-in at Fort Rodd Hill National Historic Site caused approximately $2,000 worth of damage.
Approximately $2,000 worth of damage has been caused following a break in at Fort Rodd Hill National Historic Site.
Parks Canada said the incident occurred overnight Thursday at two areas of the site. Two windows, a light and a display cage were damaged. Employees discovered the damage in the morning.
Parks Canada said its staff conducted a thorough inventory of the house and nothing significant was stolen. They believe one individual was involved in the break in.
West Shore RCMP is investigating the incident.
