Owner of urn left behind at a park bench in Nanaimo identified, RCMP says

Nanaimo RCMP say the owner of an urn filled with ashes, which was left at the foot of a park bench last weekend, has been identified.

The urn was found near the Nanaimo Yacht Club on Newcastle Island on Saturday.

An urn filled with ashes was found Saturday at the foot of a park bench near the Nanaimo Yacht Club at 400 Newcastle Island.

Police say they are working with the owner to have the urn and its contents returned.
