Traffic was slowed down in Victoria at a busy intersection as emergency crews responded to a two-vehicle collision Monday night.
Victoria Fire says a vehicle appeared to go through a red light and crashed into another car at the intersection of Quadra Street and Finlayson Street.
The crash happened around 8:30 p.m.
Authorities say any injuries are minor.
There was a single occupant in one of the vehicles involved, and three occupants in the other vehicle.
Crews shut Quadra northbound and Finlayson eastbound at the intersection while the two vehicles were moved out of the way. One of the cars was in the middle of the intersection when firefighters arrived.
Traffic began moving in all directions within an hour.
Victoria fire says both vehicles are considered write-offs and wet road conditions also played a role in the collision.
