Two people were injured in a vehicle incident early Saturday morning, with one of them transported by air ambulance and the other by ground ambulance to hospital.
The conditions of the two patients are unknown.
BC Emergency Health Services were called at 3:06 a.m. to the site of an accident on the Inland Island Highway at Horne Lake Road.
DriveBC posted in a series of tweets that the highway was closed between Horne Lake Road and Corcan Road as emergency crews assessed the scene.
The highway was re-opened by 5:11 a.m.
