Drugs, cash and a vehicle were among items seized by West Shore RCMP in a month-long drug trafficking investigation.

Police say two suspects were arrested for trafficking and possession for the purpose of trafficking controlled substances.

Search and arrests warrants were authorized during the investigation, and officers took possession of drugs, $3,000 cash and a vehicle associated with the crimes activity.

“The Crime Reduction Unit continues to target drug dealers and known chronic offenders in the West Shore,” Cst. Matt Rowat said in a statement.

Our goal is to eliminate drug trafficking from the West Shore through every means of enforcement we have.

Anyone with information on criminal activity is asked to call West Shore RCMP at 250-474-2264 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
