A northbound lane closure is causing a traffic jam on the Malahat between West Shore Parkway and Finlayson Arm Road Monday afternoon.

In a tweet just before 1:30 p.m., DriveBC said a “vehicle incident” was causing major traffic delays for commuters heading northbound along the Trans-Canada Highway.

According to Emcon Services, a truck with a pup trailer crashing into the northbound ditch prompted the traffic congestion. It says crews are working to recover the vehicle.
