Traffic is being diverted along Esquimalt Road Friday morning after a truck collided with a streetlight.
The single-vehicle incident took place shortly after 10 a.m. on Friday when a silver pickup truck travelled head-on into a streetlamp between Dalton Road and Barnard Place.
Victoria Police, along with fire crews and BC Emergency Health Services responded to the scene and traffic was being diverted away from the area.
One person was taken to hospital as a result of the vehicle incident with non-life-threatening injuries.
The cause of the collision is currently under investigation, according to VicPD.
