Nanaimo RCMP say missing person Trisha Harry has been found safe in Nanaimo.

In an email, a spokesperson said she was found around 5 p.m.

Nanaimo RCMP say troubling comments made by an 18-year-old before she went missing have caused her caregivers to be extremely concerned for her safety and well-being.

Trisha Harry did not return home on May 9, and was reported missing.

She has been known to travel to North Cowichan as she has friends and family living in the area.

Harry is an Indigenous woman and is 5 ft. 7, 140 pounds and has recently dyed her hair blue.
