A section of Highway 14 is closed after fallen trees have brought down power lines.

Drive BC said the highway is closed in both directions at Parkinson Road in Port Renfrew. Crews are assessing the downed power lines. There is no detour available at this time.

B.C. Hydro says 349 people are without power due to the trees falling across a power line. The power has been out since 10:12 a.m. Crews are currently at the scene.
