A northbound lane that was blocked on the Trans-Canada Highway near Okotoks Road due to a trailer on the road is now clear.
The blocked lane was reported just before 1:30 p.m. According to Drive BC, a “vehicle incident” was blocking the lane at Okotoks Road, four kilometres north of Langford. Drive BC says the vehicle was being recovered.
An earlierstill from the BC HighwayCam at Okotoks Road South showed debris on the road and what looked like a trailer attached to a vehicle ahead of it on the road.
Emcon Services South Island later confirmed it was a trailer blocking the single lane.

Just before 3 p.m., Emcon Services South Island said the trailer was now off the road.
