A 39-year-old man faces numerous drug-related charges after being arrested during a traffic stop in Courtenay last month.

Comox Valley RCMP says Jason Dickie was a priority offender for drug trafficking offences.

When investigating a possible traffic infraction in the area of 17th Street and McPhee Avenue March 8, police discovered the suspect was in possession of drugs suspected to be fentanyl.

RCMP members also seized marijuana suspected crystal meth and a significant amount of cash.
