Three people were taken to hospital after a three-vehicle crash early Wednesday morning in Saanich.
The crash happened on the Pat Bay Highway at the McKenzie Avenue overpass just after 6:30 a.m.
Saanich police say the severity of the injuries is unknown.
Authorities say a southbound vehicle on the highway rear-ended another vehicle and pushed it into the centre concrete median.
A piece of the median ended up in the northbound lane and was hit by another vehicle going in that direction.
The highway was closed for some time while the vehicles were removed and the median was put back in place.
