Heavy snow started falling on Vancouver Island Monday and Tuesday forcing several school districts to cancel all classes.
The University of Victoria says all classes are open today and North Island College says all campuses are open.
The snowfall warning has been lifted on Vancouver Island Wednesday morning.
Here is a list of school districts closed and open announced Wednesday:
Cowichan Valley School District SD 79
After a careful assessment of all school sites, all schools are closed Wednesday due to the snow.

Victoria School District SD 61

Schools are open Wednesday in Qualicum School District, with the exception of False Bay Elementary School.

Alberni Valley District SD 70
All schools in the Alberni School District SD 70 are OPEN on Wednesday, buses are running

Open Wednesday for classes, but advises of potential bus delays.

Vancouver Island University
The Cowichan and Powell River campuses are closed Wednesday, and no classes in Nanaimo, but staff may come to work.
Parksville/Qualicum Centre, Milner Gardens and Woodland, and Deep Bay Marine Field Stations are all open for VIU.
